  • A cloud engineer is an IT professional responsible for any technological duties associated with cloud computing—essentially, they build and maintain cloud infrastructure. For example, these duties could include design, planning, management, maintenance, and support. They also can have more specific roles that include cloud architecting (designing cloud solutions for organizations), development (coding for the cloud), and administration (working with cloud networks).

  • You have six months to complete your boot camp, consisting of 220-course hours where you can interact live with instructors who are experts in the cloud industry.

  • According to Cloudwards.net, 94% of all enterprises currently use cloud computing in some form, and the security of cloud computing is the top concern of 75% of these companies. Earning LFCS and CKA certifications proves to employers that you have the skills needed to effectively develop, manage, and secure cloud-based computing activities. As well-recognized certifications, they also serve as a differentiator for professionals already in the field. 

  • This is an online course that combines live sessions and self-paced materials. An instructor will go over the topic in the scheduled session, and then you will be required to go over the material on your own time.

  • Yes, you will go through exercises based on real-life use cases. The results are discussed during the mentoring sessions. You are also required to work on and submit a capstone project related to autonomous cars. You need to pass this to graduate.

  • Your LFCS certification will be valid for a period of 3 years beginning on the date you first took and passed the exam. You can choose to renew it before the end of its expiration period by retaking the exam or passing a higher-level certification exam.

    The CKA certification is also valid for a 3-year period beginning on the date you first take and pass the exam. You will have the option to retake and pass the exam to renew your certification prior to its expiration date.
